SLM did an outstanding job roofing my house. Kelly was awesome from the get go. She got the process started with a public adjuster to fight the denied claim from my insurance company and I was eventually approved for a new roof. She also kept me updated throughout the process. The roofing crew sent did a great job and Nick, the project manager, stayed on top of everything nicely, making sure everything was done correctly. They stripped the old roof off down to the bare decking, replaced all damaged wood, and installed the new roof all in one day. The end result was an outstanding job from start to finish, including the clean up. I highly recommend this business to anyone that is needing a contractor for a new roof installation. Thanks SLM!!

SLM Roofing was a great experience from start to finish. Michael knocked on our door one day, and we had already been through a year of trying to get the roof approved by insurance with another company, but I told him to knock himself out. He got it approved the second time! Nick was our project manager. His team showed up early, and they worked their tails off. They did the whole job in one day, and our new roof looks amazing. We’ve had numerous neighbors comment on the roof, and we have already sent two of them Michael’s contact information. They did a great job protecting our landscape and cleaning up after themselves. Both Michael and Nick were easy to talk to and very responsive. We greatly enjoyed our experience, and we couldn’t be happier with our new roof!

Eduardo Garza with SLM roofing was in my neighborhood on another job and stopped by my house to tell me I had several lifted shingles all over my roof. I was aware of this issue and was looking into hiring someone and Eduardo and his associate Dedrick Johnson said they could do a quick inspection , contact TWIA and schedule them to come out and confirm the damage. This all happened in the next 20 minutes ! TWIA inspector was out the same week and wrote it up confirming the damage and SLM was out one week after that . My roof was removed, replaced and everything cleaned up in 12 hrs. 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. My thanks and appreciation go out to Eduardo, Dedrick and the job supervisor the day of the work Mark Johnson. Can't say enough good things about the people and the quality of the work.

A few comments about the job SLM just completed on our home....
Excellent service and performance from helping determine the true extent of storm damage to facilitating our extended interaction with the insurance (TWIA) to scheduling around our events to completion. The materials were delivered early and the day of the work they had extra manpower on hand to get it done in one 14-hour+ day. The clean-up after the installation was amazing. I need to emphasize the really fine work of the company rep (Jay Gowing) whose perseverance and knowledge made this possible and of the project supervisor Joey Smith) that guided the installation: they were beyond helpful and on top of every aspect of the job—they made the entire process easy and non-traumatic!

SLM roofing replaced our roof in League City, TX. The roof was installed so well the inspector asked of the name of the roofer so that they could use and recommend them in the future! He said the roof was "perfect" and installed "phenomenally".
Here are details of our experience. They made the process very simple. Heather Terry was our contact, she is amazing! They gave us a competitive bid. They were fast and responsive to all of our questions and needs. They documented damage to the roof for the insurance claim. They worked with the insurance company to inspect the roof. They adjusted their schedule to meet our inspection needs. The worked on the roof quickly and neatly. We are extremely happy with the roof and the process of working with SLM!

Bad experience (2stars)..I wish that I was able to give 5 stars but I can’t. I hired this company to do some tarp work on my roof and they contracted a shabby, over priced roofing company ( ReadyTarp) to do the work. The roofers did not do a great job tarping and left some areas that needed to be patched untarped. Communications with SML were slow and after a week of no shows (big inconvenience) to fix the problem, someone came out to repair it.
***UPDATE*** SLM Roofing reached out and was able to address my concerns. The company was very professional about it and quickly resolved the matter to my satisfaction. My repairs are made and I can stand behind their work. At the end of the day, they really is a great company. Thank you SLM Roofing!😊

The entire experience with SLM was phenomenal. Debra thoroughly explained the costs, claims process, invoicing process, and construction process. She met the TWIA claims adjuster on the day of the inspection to ensure nothing was missed and went through the claims approval terms with us. She went through samples and gave us the pros, cons, and warranty information for all of the options.
On the day of the roof replacement, Tyler, the PM, was on-site to check in with us and make sure we were happy the end result. Debra followed up the next day to inquire about our satisfaction with the roof.
I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof. Between the customer service and quality of workmanship, I can't imagine better service.

Outstanding. Responsive, helpful. I was in very good hands. I will gladly recommend SLM Construction Services. I just bought my house and became beware that the inspector I hired missed and/or did not report a hole in my roof in the inspection report. Mr. Wimberley is amazing and took very good care of me, in less than 24 hours my roof was fixed. His team is very professional and went the extra mile to accommodate what could have been a very expensive disaster, and repairs cost was very affordable. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and would refer them to friends and family. Honest, professional, company that genuinely cares about their customers. I will definitely be using their services in the future when needed.

Nothing but good to say here. First, SLM has excellent communication. They either answered the phone right when I called, or called me back in less than 24 hours. Clear and consistent communication cannot be stressed enough and these guys nailed it.
John was my primary contact and took the time to work with my insurance and answer any technical question I had. Matt, took the time to review pricing and made sure I understood everything before we signed the contract. Sam, the Project Manager, was thorough with oversight while the work was being completed.
There were no surprises, and the first time in a very long time, I was not the least bit nervous while this work was going on.
Now I have a fantastic roof with a fantastic warranty. I highly recommend SLM Construction.

SLM did our roof and I’d highly recommend. Paul came out and did our initial inspection, created a report to document the damage for our insurance company, met the insurance adjuster at the house and walked him through the damage then communicated directly with our insurance company to get the claim approved and paid.
Once the crew came out to do the work, Rix was here to oversee the work, handle any issues (none) and answer all our questions, even giving us some tips on sn unrelated issue we were having. For 2 entire 13 hour days he was here and was the last person to leave each day.
The communication was excellent and most importantly, timely. Rix and Paul were very professional, did what they said they would, when they said they would and I’ll be referring family members to them.

Inspection and Approval
I am very pleased with my roof replacement. The process began with a thorough inspection. Although the insurance company initially declined the findings, continued discussions by SLM Roofing, ultimately resulted in approval for the replacement.
Quality and Site Care
The work was completed to my satisfaction. The crew properly protected the plants and pool and thoroughly cleaned the site afterward.
Communication and Oversight
Lead salesman Andrew Sanchez followed up diligently from the initial inspection through completion. Onsite manager Joey Smith remained available and kept me informed throughout the roof replacement.
Recommendation
I recommend SLM Roofing without hesitation.

I had a great experience getting my new roof. Rihanna was great to work with from beginning to end. She walked me through the process, answered my questions, and made everything much easier than I expected, including dealing with the insurance and HOA process.
The crew did an excellent job on the installation. They were professional, worked quickly, and cleaned everything up when they were finished. I really appreciated that they made sure my property was left clean and everything was taken care of.
I’m very happy with my new roof and especially with the level of service I received from Rihanna. She stayed on top of everything and made the entire process pretty seamless. I would definitely recommend them.

From our 1st interaction with Whitney @ the door, following a recent hailstorm, to our last with project manager Nick this roofing company has displayed nothing but top-notch professionalism and service. Whitney took charge of everything from the begin, was right there with our inspector and throughout the claims process. Charlie, the crew leader, was there early on the work day and was cordial, knowledgeable, and on top of everything (literally). Nick was there throughout keeping me informed and ensuring the every detail was taken care of (including the clean-up). Work was done on schedule and completed in 1 day and the results were outstanding and beautiful.

My first contact with SLM was Andrew. His crew had just put a new roof on my neighbors house due to hail damage. Because of the location of my house in relation to my neighbor’s house, he said it was very likely that I sustained hail damage also. They did an inspection and found hail damage. After several independent inspections all indicating hail damage, the insurance company decided to pay for a new roof. I was very thankful for Andrew’s help and patience in walking with me through the inspections and negotiations. The project manager was Tyler, he arrived early and and explained that he would be onsite all day to oversee the job. My sincere thanks to SLM, Andrew & Tyler for a job well done!!!

First and foremost before I say anything about SLM Roofing, I don’t think there is another ROOFING COMPANY out there as good, reliable, and hard working as SLM. They explained the entire process to me from start to finish and how the insurance claims works. The Roofing Specialist who worked with me, Mr. Eduardo Garza is one of a kind. He knows the business, and most of all he will explain it to where you will understand everything. He’s a very caring person who put his “CLIENTS” first. Blown away by the professionalism and kindness of everyone involved in the process. Siobhan who walked me thru the claim process was super friendly and I felt no pressure from the first meeting until the end result!! Which is amazing. Even my neighbors were impressed with the efficiency of the operation!! They came over to see me to tell how they saw the starting process and when they returned from work it was completed!! All stages of the operation was fantastic! Tyler the project manager was super friendly and kept me up to date through the entire process. In real time he showed me views from a drone which added to the experience and confidence in knowing I chose the correct company!

My husband and I were beyond impressed with our experience in having our roof replaced. Joey was professional, attentive, responsive and patient with us from start to finish. He handled everything from filing the claim to submitting the appropriate paperwork as well as supervising the job site and following up multiple times after to ensure we were pleased with the outcome.
We wish there were more people like Joey and want him to know his efforts do not go unnoticed. Each encounter with him we would say what a kind and professional young man he is.
Btw, the quality of work is superior as well, which we researched before and had expected that, but the experience was the cherry on top! If you need a roof, go with SLM and ask for Joey.

Jovany stopped by my house and asked me if he could inspect my roof, I agreed for him to do it since we had just had Hurricane Beryl with strong winds, I had noticed roof shingles on the ground after the hurricane, but thought they belonged to my neighbors. NOT! Thanks to Jovany he took pictures and took videos of my roof and sure enough they were mine.
He texted me the pictures and I submitted them to my insurance, my insurance wants to only pay half of the roof, but Jovany came back retook pictures and my case is now in process to PA at no cost to me.
I’m very grateful that SLM Roofing (Jovany) stopped by my house to check my roof, I would have never known the damage I had if he had not stopped and asked if he could inspect it.

Micheal helped started the process and provided quality, professional service. With his expertise, finally get the claim succeed after several failure. All detailed and question are explained and answered. He also helped me push the timeline and schedule the replacing much earlier than expected.
Tyler is the project manager, he arrived around 7am in the morning and explain the process and show me the documents. Under his supervising, the replacing process went really well. All job was done in one day, and all debris and trash were cleaned after. To guarantee there was no nail left on drive way and around. he check three times and finally run through one with me.
After all, really appreciate all the work has been done with the help of both.

Rhianna DeStefano was wonderful to work with. At the beginning I told her, it's not that I don't trust her , I don't trust anyone. By the time the work started and in progress, I had her go to my mother's house to fix her roof. Upstanding person. Even brought her boss bye to meet me.
The crew was excellent.Tyler Moore kept me informed on everything that was goig on.
Very professional. The only thing is they had personal trash laying around, water bottles,food stuff. But when they left it was picked up. In my opinion trash should be in garbage sacks throughoutthe day. Shingels n stuff , I can understand. The project ma ager Overall kudos to all that where involved. Would recommend SMI to anyone.

SLM Construction was a delight to work with and Michael made everything stress-free for this busy mom. He stopped by the house one afternoon, as my roof had a noticeable wear and was in need of replacement. After telling me about the company and what they had to offer, he submitted the claim to the insurance company, came out to my property twice with insurance adjusters, all while being patient with the chaos of the home (dogs and toddler). His aid was such a blessing. When I made the call, they were here the very next week and completed the job in one day.
